Traditional Permanent Makeup (NOT NY) FAQ’s
Yes. Permanent makeup is a tattoo that is done on the face. It has many side effects such as severe pain & bleeding, scaring, scabbing, colors that change over time, and usually a harsh unnatural look. NY is a natural-looking enhancement to your face and is not harsh or painful.
To be certified “organic”, every product manufacturer must be inspected by an USDA accredited certifying agency that awards the manufacturer with an organic seal. This includes inspecting the raw ingredients and how they were originally produced as well as the manufacturing and storage processes.
To our knowledge there is no such thing as organic permanent makeup. It’s simply marketing propaganda used by certain permanent makeup companies as a ploy to seem different from traditional permanent makeup or tattoos.
We suggest that you ask any company claiming there produce is organic for a certification – most likely they will not be able to provide it.
NY™ uses a custom formulated nontoxic mineral based pigment that is proprietary to our brand.
No. Most tattoo or permanent makeup inks have harmful metals and chemicals that will effect an MRI. Micro Art’s pigments are 100% safe.
There is a wide variety of side effects caused by permanent makeup. One reason that NY is more expensive than other forms of permanent makeup is that it has eliminated all side effects.
Some side effects of permanent makeup are:
- A heavy unnatural look
- Harsh colors that change over time into blues or orange
- Heavy bleeding
- Down Time that includes bruising and scabbing
- You cannot get MRI’s after most forms of permanent makeup.
- EYELINER: As the skin ages and stretches, the eyeliner separates from the lash line creating a gap. Which usually turns blue.
There are no side effects of getting NY Semi Permanent Makeup.
